Project Description
In conjunction with Dr. John Evans, the Plant Biology Department of the Australia National University and Thermoline Scientific, Empyrean Lighting undertook an R&D project to design and build LED grow lights as for replacement of HID technology in growth cabinets.
Our LED grow light solution significantly reduces the power use and heat load on the cabinets and still maintains desired intensities. In addition, using LEDs with specific wavelengths has allowed for complete spectrum control, and using our management software has allowed for unparalleled lighting control and variability within the cabinets.
