Project Description
Empyrean’s Andromeda Flood luminaires have been installed during upgrades to the Kawana Aquatic Centre in late 2017.
Empyrean were engaged by Council and a lighting design was conducted in house to determine the best option for the center’s new lighting. Based on the design we presented our 300W Andromeda Flood lights as the ideal fit due to their robust nature and ability to reach the required 120 average lux level.
Over the past 5 years Kawana Aquatic Centre has undergone many upgrades each working towards a better facility for the community. Their switch to LED technology will allow the centre to significantly reduce their electricity and maintenance costs.
This upgrade is just one of many LED lighting upgrades to aquatic centers within the region – Empyrean Lighting have also provided LED solutions for Buderim, Caloundra and Gympie Aquatic Centres.
