In conjunction with Noosa Electric Co and the client, Noosa Shire Council, our street lights were installed along the pathway at the iconic Noosa Main Beach.
Noosa Main Beach just had a lighting make over, Metal Halide luminaires (up to 70W) were replaced with our innovative Andromeda technology, reducing energy use by more than 50% , virtually eliminating maintenance costs, more aesthetically pleasing and effective lighting solution.

Lighting up the boardwalk at Noosa Main Beach you will see our Andromeda Ceramic Pole Mount LED Luminaire (30W). Our Andromeda LED luminaire aligns with the Zero Emissions Noosa target of becoming net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2026. The CCT of 3000K (Warm White) that has been used in this luminaire, is used for ambience and less effect on the environment.
The benefit of using this diverse yet robust range significantly reduces the power use for the Noosa Council and eliminates maintenance cost over the life span of 60,000 + hours to L70. The IP rating of IP66 for the Andromeda removes the risk of debris or water infiltrating the light, given the environment, the luminaire needs to withstand the extreme salt and wind. These luminaires have been tested in extreme temperatures, given the location of the Andromeda theses LED’s will withstand for many years to come.
