Project Description
Empyrean Lighting re-designed their Andromeda Linear luminaire to be fitted with motion sensor technology to work within the carpark at the brand new Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The 8+ story parking facility contains over 1,500 32watt Andromeda linear lights vastly reducing energy consumption and providing equal light distribution throughout the levels.
“When the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH) opens in late 2016 it will revolutionise healthcare on the Coast and offer a range of free public hospital services.”
– Queensland Government, Queensland Health.
Lend Lease are highly impressed with the lights and their capability claiming the light spread is even better than expected.
